Our mission is to unite tennis ladies to promote and organize charitable activities benefitting needy individuals, groups or organizations in our community and throughout the world. Our MottoLOVE ALLWe open all Board and General Membership meetings with “Love All” as a way to center us and unite us in our common passions of tennis and in serving others in our world
We had another extremely successful 3rd Annual Grand Gala & Tournament raising $35,000. It’s truly remarkable what a group of tennis enthusiasts can achieve through teamwork, cooperation and in giving time and service. This year, we experimented with our GALA the evening prior to our event and it was FABULOUS. We danced the night away, played some blackjack, dined and toasted with our friends and guests. The motivating and pivotal event at the Gala was listening to our beneficiaries. We heard from a lovely and brave woman named Cherry, a survivor and former resident from the Good Shepherd Shelter. She told her heartbreaking story of the terror she lived with for many years while with her former husband and how the Good Shepherd Shelter saved her, and her children, by providing a safe haven, an opportunity to overcome and then thrive. We were all moved to tears by her story. Because of your support with our 3rd Annual Gala & Tournament, we will be issuing The Good Shepherd Shelter a check for $23,500. We will help more “Cherry’s” in our community. Thank you for making a difference. We will also be issuing a check for $6000 to Caterina’s Club, helping underprivileged children in need of food. Another $5500 will go to our TSO GIveBack (please read more below to learn how we serve others monthly). To all our members who volunteered, played in the tournament, attended our Gala, donated an item, solicited a donor and supported Tennis Serves Others, I congratulate all of you for a tremendous job. THANK YOU SO MUCH!Love All, Carol Walsh

On February 8th, 52 ladies played in a fun charitable round robin raising funds to support Canine Companions for Independence. Amy Berk, our TSO Events Chair, created a fun and festive “LOVE FOR ALL” event to support this amazing organization. Amy also coordinated Valentines that were later delivered to pediatric patients at CHOC at Mission Hospital. Later, Amy and Barb Lanni, President of the OC Chapter, delivered a check for $1950 on behalf of all those who played to serve. Thank you!
